I have raised two running children, one competitive and one not.

I have learned to run in ice and snow and I don't complain.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Work towards a faster marathon by Spring 2012.

Get my 5K down to 21:30.

Place in my division at duathlon and triathlon.

Train for biathlon.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Joining Forrest Gump

Same ladder workout on the bike that I did last night.  A increased the resistance just a tiny bit, still keeping it pretty easy.  I get a lot more benefit from these ladders; some cardio involvement, which means endorphin involvement, which means more cheerful attitude all around.  I may do an easy hour later today, or just take the rest of the day off.  I'm going to the gym to do weights and core and stretching.

Yes, I quite like little endorphin annie!

Looks like I won't get any gym workout in, or any more biking either; work got in my way.

You are doing great...are ladders like spin class? Ya know when they make you basically stand and peddle?

From april27 on Thu, Nov 19, 2009 at 21:58:47 from 99.188.251.180

oops I can't spell today..."pedal" not peddle...

NICE WORK THIS WEEK!!!! How do you keep your butt from getting sore? Seriously, I can not go very far.

From auntieem on Sat, Nov 21, 2009 at 08:45:24 from 67.182.145.8

Kelli: Its indoor recumbent stationary bike, so its OK for my butt for hours! On my real bike, sore butt is a challenge for me too; I'm really uncomfortable over 70-80 miles.

From Kelli on Sat, Nov 21, 2009 at 16:03:49 from 71.219.71.229

OH---I like those bikes! They are great to read on and do not hurt your butt so much.
